Yoga & Meditation
Getting to the root of your practice.
As you may have discovered, Yoga and meditation are powerful tools in maintaining a healthy life on all levels. They help you process your emotions and move through physical and mental blockages. They have the ability to facilitate the release of limiting perspectives and open your awareness to spirit and Universal Consciousness. In the west, Yoga and Meditation have become tools that support physical health, harmony in body, mind and spirit and an overall sense of peace and wellbeing. Is it enough however, to simply use these tools only to generate temporary peace of mind, so walking through Whole Foods, making it through another day of work and driving home in rush hour is more tolerable? Granted it is very helpful, but there is a bit more to this, isn’t there?
In the east, Yoga is more than just postures or asanas for stretching the body – it is an entire life path dedicated to the study of self, the science of the mind and realization of the divine within you. Asanas or stretching (Yoga as we know it ) was merely created intuitively to prepare the body to sit for longer periods of time in meditation as not to be pulled out prematurely by discomfort.
At the root of true Yoga, meditation and stretching are not separate things, they are a part of one process used to discipline the body and mind to be able to begin the real work, Oneness with Creation, the disillusion of the false self, unity with Divine love.
Being in that we are in the western culture, are you getting the most out of your practice?
Yoga prepares the body, and meditation creates the container to begin analyzing the self. If the true goal is complete union with Source, then the main question we need to be analyzing is, where am I separate?
What trauma and experiences do I have, what perspectives and ideas am I carrying, what have I been telling myself lifetime after lifetime that keeps me locked in separation? What do I truly identify with? Have you asked yourself? This process of self study is true Yoga and the real purpose of the meditative state.
When we start asking ourselves these questions we start getting answers. Then what? What do we do with the information we uncover? How do you deal with the patterns and identities you uncover? Do you know anyone teaching a class about the next step? How do you work through the issues that come up to go further?
This is what I discovered in the process of my own practice. What do I do with this anger that I am feeling, where is it coming from? Meditation helped me further exploring my feelings. I used a process of identifying my triggers to help get me started. I began analyzing, Who is triggering this anger and in what circumstances? I dived deeper into why I was feeling angry. I was able to uncover all sorts of issues that I carried when I analyzed my anger in regards to a specific individual or circumstance. It was kind of like stumbling over a stump of a large tree that when I started digging lead down to roots sprawling in all directions underground. My anger analysis began directing me to all sorts of different feelings of jealousy, self confidence issues, creative suppression and fear of speaking my truth. Whoa, it was slightly daunting how much I uncovered, but now what to do with these discoveries? It lead me down a path of seeking support. I dove into many different directions, spiritual teachings and healing modalities looking for answers on how to deal with trauma. Most of which had really nothing to do with this lifetime, only experiencing it surface in different situations with no real cause.
What’s interesting is that when I look around today in the world of healing arts, modalities and therapies in my local community and online for classes and services, I see many individual classes. Spirituality, yoga, meditation, emotional therapy, dance, body work, diet, exercise, health and nutrition etc, all teaching how to do the outer work, how to move your body, what to eat, but not much that brings it all together and looks at the core of our being and how to transform these roots.
This is the gap the that I realized needs to be filled. The Gurus speak of transcending all of it, complete surrender to Source, but how do we actually get from where we are to the truth Divine?
I realized that I needed to create awareness of the process by sharing my personal steps. I often get asked, How do you start reading the Akasha? How do I find my past lives? What do I do about these attachments that I have? How did you get to where you are?
You have to get to the point where you ask yourself “Do I want to stay where I am and just accept things as they are, or am I willing to face what is holding me back head on and go for it?”
Using yoga is great way to feel good in the body and calm in the mind from one moment to the next, but this experience is just a glimpse of the gateway and potential true yoga holds. Are you willing to find out?
Claiming your power back
What would happen if you created exactly the opposite of what you actually wanted?
You wanted to bring more peace and joy into your life, instead you’re experiencing more drama and stress. You wanted to bring in more abundance, and instead the bills are piling up. You have this vision of your dream career, but instead you keep having to show up for what feels like a dead end job.
This is exactly what was happening to one of my clients. The more she asked for happiness, the more she felt she was suffering. Every manifestation she sent out was pretty much creating exactly the opposite of what she was envisioning. On the conscious level, this didn’t make sense at all. I mean, how come you can be so clear about something and experience its opposite!?
So together we journeyed into the Akasha. We had to go back to Atlantis, about 13,000 years ago, to find the root cause of the pattern that she was experiencing today.
Now, just know, that doesn’t mean that all her lifetimes for the past 13,000 years had had that pattern. It mainly means that it was something that was surfacing in her field and that her unconscious mind was asking her to look at, heal and clear – that’s why it was brought up to her so strongly.
When we tapped into that past lifetime, I saw her as a powerful lightbringer with incredible manifestation abilities. Whatever she set out to create she was able to. Her thoughts had tremendous strength: she would see a new creation, a new project, a new experience in her mind and within a short time shape it into its physical existence.
She also had what we would call alchemistic abilities. She was able to transform physical objects as well as produce things out of thin air.
All the work she was doing was in accordance with the light. All of her creations were there to support the collective good and increase the well being of the land and its inhabitants. She also lived in a time where people were living in integrity with the light codes. A time where the structures were nurturing everyone to fully express their gifts. A time when people knew that coming together in harmony and mutual support was important for the success, prosperity and health of the individual as well as that of the collective.
There came a time though when things started to change. A group of beings arrived from another planet whose agendas was power. They believed that the only way to obtain that power was through the control of the masses. They slowly started enslaving the Atlanteans by threatening their lives and taking away their gifts.
My client was one of the people who became enslaved. Because her powerful manifestation gifts were a threat to the new powers at be, they demanded from her to not use her gifts again. To assure that, they placed an implant into the area around her pineal gland.
You can imagine an implant like a small microchip (very similar to the ones we use in our computer systems or smartphones nowadays) that is programmed with very detailed and precise information. That information then overrides specific thoughts within our own neuropathways and imprints them with the data that is stored on the implant. We are no longer able to listen to all of our own thoughts, but instead certain parts of our lives are run by the programming from the implant. In a way, the implant hijacks our thought forms.
What happened to my client is that she slowly forgot her abilities. The implant started to create confusion around her gifts, fogginess in her thoughts. She couldn’t remember the truth of who she was and what she was capable of doing. On top of it, it created what I call a reversal mechanism where everything she set out to do would bring her the opposite experience.
No wonder that in this life she was not only experiencing the opposite of her manifestations, but also never found her true calling.
We then went in to first clear the beliefs around her abilities. There was a fear of being killed if she stepped into her gifts as well as a commitment to the beings from Atlantis to never use her talents again. After clearing the beliefs associated with that experience, we were able to visualize the implant dissolve.
It was important for us to clear the beliefs and fears though first, as the implant in a way was her protection mechanism. Because the beings did threaten to kill her if she used her gifts, she had linked her abilities with dying. Severing that connection and bringing in the energy that from now on she could use her gifts without having her life threatened in some way, shape or form allowed her to let go of the implant.
Clearing the beliefs and transmuting the implant has been allowing her to practice her manifestation abilities once again.
So many of the things that we are experiencing today don’t make any sense on the conscious level. It is by journeying into the Akashic Records that we can find the answers to our questions – and patterns.
What situations are you currently experiencing that make you feel disempowered? How would it feel to you to claim your power back?

Self Love, Self Care:
Getting caught up in the stress of the holiday season? So many things to do before the end of the year?
The holiday songs are telling us that “this is the most wonderful time of the year!” Yet, you might be having a different experience as you’re buying the Christmas presents for the whole family, planning the holiday dinner, and going from your company’s holiday party to yet another event at your kid’s school. On top of it, you’re finishing up the all the things at work that need to be finalized before the end of the year. And the most wonderful time of the year has become the most stressful time of the year.
What you need to know is that you do have the power to turn this time into a wonderful time. Cultivating inner strength, setting boundaries and making time for self-care will help you. If you nurture yourself, you will have the ability to show up for what’s required from you with much more ease and grace. Make time on your schedule for yourself!
Sooo, having said all that, here’s a quick “pick-me-up and destress-me” breathing exercise that works wonders. I learned it while studying Kriya Yoga at Lake Shrine (Paramahansa’s Yogananda’s temple in Pacific Palisades).
You can do the breath work first thing in the morning or before going to bed. You can do it as you’re waiting in the pick-up line in front of your kid’s school, and in between filing the reports for your boss at work. Heck, I’ve even done it sitting at a red light during LA rush hour traffic!
This is how it goes:
- Inhale on the count of 7
- Hold your breath on the count of 7
- Exhale on the count of 7
- Hold your breath on the count of 7
- Repeat at least 7 times
Easy, right?! This little bit of breath work will make you feel sooo good!
Here’s to feeling stress-free and happy during this holiday season!
Essential Oil of the Week:
It’s the season of joy, so let’s bring some additional joy into your home!!
Young Living’s essential oil of Joy is a combination of several oils, including Ylang Ylang, Geranium, Jasmine, Palmarosa, Rose, Bergamot, Lemon, and Tangerine. Citrus oils such as lemon and tangerine are great pick-me-ups whereas ylang ylang brings in the essence of sensuality and romance. Top it with rose, you’ll have the ideal love combo, as rose is the oil with the highest vibrational frequency – it literally vibrates at the frequency of love.
As the name already says, Joy brings in the energy of warmth, happiness and comfort. It has the ability to help you overcome deep seated emotions of grief, sadness and pain. It brings joy to the heart, mind, spirit and soul.
It also inspires romance!!!
Here’s another essential oil tip: instead of using perfume, put a drop of Joy oil on your wrists or neck. Essential oils are a much healthier alternative to perfume which often has toxic ingredients plus you’ll feel the energy of the oil supporting you throughout the day.

What we are reading:
Since we are talking about joy in this issue, here’s a book about joy. I came across it a few years ago and absolutely love it!
The book is called “Joy: The Happiness That Comes from Within” and is a compilation of some of Osho’s teachings.
Now, if you haven’t heard about Osho yet, here’s a bit of information: Also known as Rajneesh, Osho was an Indian mystic and leader of the Rajneesh movement. He emphasized the importance of meditation, mindfulness, love, celebration, courage, creativity and humor —all qualities that he viewed as being suppressed by adherence to a static belief system, religious traditions and socialization. Osho’s work on inner transformation is quite revolutionary. His approach to meditation acknowledges the accelerated pace of contemporary life, and his talks and meditations embody a vision that encompasses both, the timeless wisdom of ages past and the highest potential of today’s (and tomorrow’s) science and technology. Osho has been described by the Sunday Times in London as one of the “1000 Makers of the 20th Century”. Sunday Mid-Day in India has selected Osho as one of ten people (along with Gandhi, Nehru and Buddha) who have changed the destiny of India.
He is an Indigo Warrior, so a perfect person to share about in our magazine!
I first found out about Osho when my brother gave me his “book of emptiness”, which was a book of blank pages. My brother thought it was hilarious to give me a book with blank pages. It was only later that I discovered the bigger picture: empty your mind, let go of your thoughts in order to go beyond the conscious mind.
Now, “Joy: The Happiness That Comes from Within” does not have empty pages at all. No worries. Actually, the opposite. It is filled with beautiful, timeless wisdom and contemplation on the essence of life. It encourages us to take a deeper look at our conditioning and belief systems that keep us in a state of suffering. It invites us to embrace joy as an energy that moves through all aspects of life and teaches us how to find joy even in the challenges that we are experiencing. The moment we embrace joy, we become closer to a true, peaceful, and balanced state.

Looking for some amazing and super clean haircare? We LOVE this product!!!
Honestly, there are so many haircare products out there that make your hair look good, but are loaded with toxic chemicals. As you might already know, the skin is the biggest organ of the body. Whatever you put on your skin, will seep through and go right into your body. Which means that if you’re putting chemicals into your hair, they won’t just stay there, but go right through your scalp.
When dissecting corpses (not to be too graphic here since we are talking about haircare), doctors have found huge amounts of toxins stored between the scalp and the skull, most likely from products that people put on their hair during their lifetime. These toxins affect the hair follicles causing hair loss and dandruff. Detoxing your scalp will not only make your body healthier, but your hair shinier and thicker.
So, let’s get your hair shiny, and your body all healthy!
Morrocco Method products are all raw, vegan, paleo, gluten free and color safe shampoos. They’re cruelty-free, wildcrafted, plant-based and handcrafted in small batches. Based on the principles of the 5 Elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Ether), their scents come from pure essential oils.
If you haven’t yet, check them out by clicking on the image below. It is the healthiest hair care we have found so far!!
