“Wielding the Sword –
Indigo Warrior Training”:
What does it mean to be an Indigo Warrior? What does it mean to wield your sword and become the spiritual leader and healer you were meant to be?
If you’re an Indigo, it means that you’re an old soul. You’ve had many incarnations on this planet. You had at least, if not multiple lifetimes, during the Atlantean era. You remember the frequencies of the higher dimensions from previous incarnations. There are parts of you that just can’t comprehend why this 3rd dimensional reality works the way it does.
You’re longing to live in a world where there is peace, support, soul community and where you can express your true Self. But all the systems of this world have not really allowed you to do so. You feel victimized by your surroundings and frustrated by the challenges that are presenting themself…
This is where the Indigo needs to become the Indigo Warrior!
For many incarnations you have lived based on patterns and programs created during the fall from the 5th into the 3rd dimension. These patterns were most often unconscious, creating the reality that you’ve experienced and still are. On the conscious level you wanted to step into your power, express your truth, bring forth your gifts, and yet it seemed there were just too many challenges, too many obstacles along the way.
What you need to know is that it is your ancient programs and obligations that are creating these challenges. It is traumas from past lifetimes that are recreating itself within the reality that you’re currently experiencing. Unless you go back to where the pattern and the trauma started, you will continue to experience the repetition of these stories.
To become the Indigo Warrior you were meant to be, the time has come to muster up the courage to look at these stories, to go back to where they started and transform them once and for all. You will not be able to fully step into your power and gifts until that transformation happens.
Here is a list of Indigo Warrior statements that we put together for you. See if you can find yourself within them!

It is about tapping into your innate creativity and giving a voice to that what’s been wanting to break free.
This program is about acknowledging that you are your own spiritual healer and empowering you to claim it. You will learn how to identify what traumas have been holding you back and how to clear them so you can step courageously onto your new path.

Here’s to the path of the Indigo Warrior!
Vegan = compassion?
Veganism is a fast growing movement and activism currently sweeping the nation, social media, and major parts of the world right now. It is fueled by one main ethic value, compassion for animals.
Let me tell you, wether you are currently eating vegan or not eating vegan, meat and no meat truly are two sides of the same coin. Both sides need to accept that there is a 3rd side to every coin. It may be thin and hard to notice, but it’s there, and is the missing link that brings all of it into perspective. What is it? Compassion.
Growing up most everyone that I know was raised in a family that ate from the meat industry. We weren’t farmers and rarely did we hunt anything. When we did hunt it was more of a bonding experience and less about providing food for our family. So this topic is something that affects everyone, and as much as we want to think it’s as easy as just eating veggies and never looking back for many of us, it’s not!
Compassion is the key! Everyday it feels like someone new catches on to the vegan movement and just as quickly casts out slew of negativity to those who are not. Have you ever felt judged for not eating vegan?! It can be harsh because the reality is there is some deep truth in it and at the same time many of us don’t know what to do.
Deep down you know you care about animals, all animals. But when you are raised on eating them it can be very difficult to put your personal love for them over the physical needs and health of your body, right?
I personally resonated on all aspects of my being with eating a plant based diet. Spiritually and energetically it makes perfect sense, you are what you eat. However I found that when I went about 4 days without eating meat protein I started to feel weaker and weaker.
For me I needed the Akasha and belief work to help me uncover the root of what was holding me back from being able to feel physically healthy eating a vegan diet.
As humans many our ancestors have been consuming meat as the main source of sustenance for 1000’s of years. It’s coded into our DNA. For so many of us it’s not just as easy as turning it off over night. It’s a process of clearing the family lineage and ancestral beliefs that we need meat to survive. Then training the body how to eat a balanced plant based diet.
If the world is to truly find peace among the suffering and cruelty that is happening on the planet, compassion is the key. We need to start with our friends and families. Instead of outcasting people for not knowing how to change, we need to provide compassion and support. If we are unable to love people, have compassion for people and help our human family first, we’ll never be able to solve anything.
In this age of information we need to start looking at what has been hidden from us, we can no longer just close our eyes and pretend we don’t see it. We have a responsibility to look at where we ourselves have been unconscious and what we can do to directly change our impact. Change isn’t always easy but it is constant.
As humans, when our need to consume meat for sustenance left our hands directly, as hunters and farmers, and fell behind the closed curtain of a profit driven industry, a serious problem was created. We released our personal responsibility and sacred connection to the animal spirit, and exchanged it for convenience. We unknowingly participated and supported the commercial process and production of meat, which includes extreme brutality and suffering. This is undoubtably a major concern.
It’s time to look at what has been hiding and deal with what we have been avoiding. To succeed, we need compassion and recognize that even a vegan diet is full of suffering and separation if the plants and fruits we consume are produced in the same unconscious industry, lacking of compassion and connection to spirit and the sacred energy of life. We all have work to do, every single one of us, restoring love and consciousness into our own lives and the planet.
Recipe of the week:
The energy of Christmas is all around us. We put up our tree. We decorated the house. We are diffusing our Christmas Spirit essential oil (see last week’s issue).
Yesterday we made our first Christmas cookies of the season. There’s nothing better than the smell of cookies right out of the oven, and Jiva’s five-year-old daughter being excited about cutting out little gingerbread men, trees and snowflakes from the dough.
Now, the cookies turned out so well that we wanna share the recipe with you. I’ve been a gingerbread cookie fan all my life, and this vegan version is absolutely rocking’ it:
Vegan Gingerbread Cookies:
- 18 oz of pastry flour
- 9 oz coconut sugar
- 7 oz plant based creamer (we personally LOVE nutpods – see HERE)
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp amaretto oder cherry brandy
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp allspice
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp ground cardamon
- 1/8 ground coriander
- bit of black pepper
Knead all ingredients together into a thick dough.
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Flour a surface. Roll out cookie dough with a rolling pin. The dough should be around 1/3 inch thick. Dip your cookie cutter in flour and start cutting out gingerbread men, stars, trees….Move the cookies to a parchment lined baking tray.
Bake in the pre-heated oven for 10 min. After the cookies are done, give them about 10-15 min to cool down. Then add….
- 4 oz powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
- 4 drops Young Living essential oil of orange (if you’re using another brand, you might need to double up on the amount. YL is much stronger than most brands and therefore requires less the amount than others)
- 2-3 tbsp of cold water (start with 2 tbsp and add more if needed)
Mix all ingredients together into a thick mass and spread on cookies.
If you want to be more creative, place icing into an icing bag and decorate cookies with fun patterns!
Self Love, Self Care:
The Movement of Awakening
For any of you who have an active practice with Yoga, dance, martial arts, or just exercise in general, you know how important it is to move your body intentionally everyday. To keep ourselves healthy on all levels of being, movement and exercise are truly essential.
I want to talk about the connection between movement, touch, muscle memory and making progress on the spiritual path. Did you know that the patterns we live on a day to day basis are literally programed into our physical and muscular being? Think about it, whatever routine it is, wether it’s going to work everyday, driving the same roads, shopping at the local health food store, we are connecting with a very specific mode of action. These actions associated with our job, eating habits, relationships, become the mental, emotional and habitual routine that our physical body shapes itself from. Our life takes specific form based on the choices we chose to fulfill our everyday needs with. The Rhythm of life becomes determined by your perspective. You create based on what you feel is most important. It is easy for us to get caught in a specific pattern for years. As a result, our mental and emotional being is patterned as well. Our body becomes the container that holds this physical routine of our everyday experiences, and programs our muscles with the memory our current reality.
Have you ever had a profound awakening experience that shifted your current perspective on life? When it happens we often think, OK this is going to change things! I see life differently now! This can happen during healing work sessions, during meditation, psychic readings, with plant medicine, silent retreats, darshan with a fully awakened being, you name it, it can happen just walking down the street. When it occurs, the experience can be very uplifting and light filled. It feels so good you want it to last. But depending on how powerful it is, it may only remain a few days, maybe a week or sometimes only a few hours. Ok, but what can we do about it?
When we have an awakening experience, opening in awareness or a shift in perspective, it needs somewhere fertile to land in. If our personal landscape has been conditioned and condensed by a specific routine or way of being for too long, the new energy has nowhere to go. It’s like rain falling on dry and compacted earth, it just runs off. It may feel good in the moment as it’s cascading down your metaphorical hill side enlivening your being, but when the shower of love stops, it just flows off, it doesn’t soak in, it doesn’t remain within you.
It is important to realize that for the new to be invited in, it needs to have a receptive foundation to be received. Visualize inviting a group of your new yoga friends into a small smokey room filled with your old poker buddies. Ahh right! Old energy, patterns, rhythms, conditions need to be broken up and cleared out if anything new is gonna stick around.
On a physical level, our muscle memories are holding the programs and awareness we have trained into our being. It is holding everything, how we previously viewed life in which we created our routine reality around from our past perspective. If we want the new consciousness we were just blessed with to sink in and influence our reality, we gotta make room. You gotta move, dance, stretch, massage, sing, and exercise that energy into your body and being. You need to try a new route to work, trying shopping on another day of the week, just do things differently to shake and open up your reality to change.
You never know when an awakening bliss kiss experience is going bless its way into your life. Why wait for it? You can prepare your soil today. Keep your being open to receive by making a new routine to keep things moving in your life. Get massage on a regular bases to help keep your muscle program up to date with your most current awareness. Don’t allow new energy, perspectives and opportunities to dissolve and slip away on an old foundation of out to date beliefs programmed into your memories and your being. The mind is a power tool but a poor master, don’t let its need of the comfortable and familiar block your growth. Facilitate new awarenesses and expressions of being by making the changes necessary to physically receive it. Move the new into your life, literally! Let go of the person and habits you have been for the last 7 years.
So move your body, dance, sing, leap, beak up the past memory, massage your muscles, change your diet and your rhythm, wiggle out the old you and make room for who you want to be. With just a little change, a little movement, you never know what beautiful wisdom has been hovering, just waiting for you to make some room for it to integrate and blossom within you.
Essential Oil of the Week:
I call Orange Essential Oil my “happy oil”. Whenever I diffuse it, it just uplifts my spirit and brings in the energy of happiness.
What better thing to have in your diffuser as it is starting to get cold outside, as the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer, and we are moving into the darkest time of the year….
Whenever you’re feeling heavy and need a quick energy boost of happiness, diffuse essential oil of orange. It is said to be uplifting and a great anti-depressant.
A study at Mie University showed that the properties of citrus oils reduced depression, induced relaxation and boosted immunity. If you have a hard time falling asleep, diffuse some orange oil before going to bed.
Young Living’s Orange Oil has a food grade level, so it means that you can ingest it. We add a few drops to water to give it some flavor. It is also great for baking. This issue’s recipe has some yumminess thanks to adding orange oil, so check it out.

Looking for some amazing and super clean haircare? We LOVE this product!!!
Honestly, there are so many haircare products out there that make your hair look good, but are loaded with toxic chemicals. As you might already know, the skin is the biggest organ of the body. Whatever you put on your skin, will seep through and go right into your body. Which means that if you’re putting chemicals into your hair, they won’t just stay there, but go right through your scalp.
When dissecting corpses (not to be too graphic here since we are talking about haircare), doctors have found huge amounts of toxins stored between the scalp and the skull, most likely from products that people put on their hair during their lifetime. These toxins affect the hair follicles causing hair loss and dandruff. Detoxing your scalp will not only make your body healthier, but your hair shinier and thicker.
So, let’s get your hair shiny, and your body all healthy!
Morrocco Method products are all raw, vegan, paleo, gluten free and color safe shampoos. They’re cruelty-free, wildcrafted, plant-based and handcrafted in small batches. Based on the principles of the 5 Elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Ether), their scents come from pure essential oils.
If you haven’t yet, check them out by clicking on the image below. It is the healthiest hair care we have found so far!!
